Essential Job Functions
- Database application migration, upgrades and Optimization
- Business Intelligence technologies and advanced reporting applications
- SQL Server security practices
- Communicates with Development and QA teams regularly to ensure accurate understanding of requirements.
- Write user training manuals, help files, and facilitate training sessions for large applications, as needed.

- Salary: $85 to $95k per annum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with planning and implementing version upgrades to MS SQL Server.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
- Expertise with Database Administration for all MS SQL Server versions 2008-2016.
- Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
- Experience with data warehouse concepts and applications
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MS SQL Server.
- Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Extensive knowledge of industry standard development methodologies and technologies.
